Apologies for the lack of recent updates, we just got our phone bill! I will now update the site once a week so if you would like something changed then please tell me. It's nearly a month since I asked you all for some info about yourself, so far only Holmes has obliged. I am grateful to Holmes for doing so and also for his overall committment to the team. We need such committment from others, maybe the manager could show an interest?
Holmes wishes to conduct a training session this Friday. However a distinct lack of interest could lead to this session being called off, again. Please could the players keep in touch with Holmes or I to make sure you can make it and if not which days you can. Thankyou. One final notice and that is that our application to the Chester and District League is being considered on the 28th, this Thursday, so keep your fingers crossed - Teague

Yesterday the club conducted it's first training session. In previous postings on this site, as well as in the many emails sent to the players, the importance of this training session was stressed. Holmes urged all the players and staff to turn up. We had expected quite a good turn out. This was not the case. Notable absentees included the manager, the treasurer and 80% of the players. Special thanks to those who bothered to show up. They were John Sherry, David Holmes, Steven Holmes, Haven Tsang and Yazdon Madani. With the small numbers little progress was made although Holmes is fairly happy with a 4-4-2 formation. The typical layout of the team will appear in the personnel section of the site within the next few days. Once again thanks to those who showed up. I would like to also make it clear that a few people had valid excuses for their absences as they could not get out of work - Teague

The board have renewed optimism this week having heard of the Post Office strike in the North West. This is most likely the reason why the League's response to our application has been delayed. If this is the case then the team could be officially registered within a week. This would also allow the board to purchase the home kits for next season. Due to a temporary lack of interest from potential sponsers the shirts will cost each player £10.
I would also like to stress the importance of signing on fees. Without these the club is incapable of registering for next season. A few players paid their fees this week but many have yet to come forwards. It is imperative that all players contribute £15 in the immediate future.
Further news, this time of a football nature, the team's first training session has been organised for Friday 1st June. The session will take place at the Oval in Bebington, the time is yet to be arranged. The more astute of you will notice that the 1st June happens to be in the half term. This is a quite deliberate piece of scheduling by Holmes as it will mean that everyone can attend. No excuses. This session will be used to determine the positions/tactics for the coming season. Therefore you really need to turn up unless you don't mind playing left-back for 6 months - Teague

After making enquieries today, Holmes and myself are optimistic that we can have the kits produced by the end of next week. In order for such progress to be made all the registration fees must be collected by Wednesday. Remember each player must pay £15 to join the team - Teague

The website has been uploaded in some what primitive form. Once the club really starts to take off, this site will play an integral role in announcements and communication. Remember to check back for further updates. I am on exam leave now so I'll be working on this site quite a bit - Teague
